Iconic Soul Consoling Tower was built by detainees during the war and stands today in the cemetery at Manzanar National Historic Site.
Auditorium/Interpretive Center west entrance shows vegetation restored, the result of efforts by Friends of Manzanar.
A replica of a World War II era searchlight has been added to Guard Tower No. 8.
